A beautiful weekend!

Peek-a-boo!

As I am sure you have already figured out, Joah is under the blanket.

Possibly our future home... we're starting the building process, but the weather is not cooperating. We can't get the perk test done for the septic until it dries out, but it just keeps raining and raining and raining! We have to have that to decide if it's worth the hassle to get the land, and we have to have the land to start on the foundation (once they approve the placement of the house). Sheesh!

Working on the permit application... we (well, Kevin did all the work) had to draw out the plans complete with measurements and dimensions. Of course Joah wanted to help.

A new fun art project... tearing out magazine pictures and gluing them down.

It was so nice on Saturday we all wanted to do something different outside - I wanted to go on a picnic, Joah wanted to go fishing, and Kevin wanted to work on the boat so we just combined the three! We took the boat over to his aunt and uncles pond next door so me and Morgan had a picnic on the back of the boat while Joah fished (he caught a few fiesty crappies) and Kevin tinkered with his new fishfinder/GPS. Me and Joah walked back through the pasture. Of course, being the boy that he is, he couldn't walk around the log... that would be too easy. He must go over it :P

The other goal was to find a new recliner. We were all set to drive an hour away and buy new when I decided to scan craigslist really quick. Found one right down the road (which never happens since we live otu in the country!!) for a fraction of the cost we would have spent... and it looks brand new! The main reason for getting it was b/c sometimes Morgan has a rough night and won't lay down so now we can hold her and actually get some sleep at the same time! Plus the padding was gone on our other chair and was killing my back. We tried it out the first night... it's pretty comfy!

Another helper in the making... Morgan "helping" me fold diapers. All the ones on the floor got there via her little hands :P

My little ham...

MMMMMMMMMMMMMUAH!
